On June 13, 2026, the 16th Jagiellonian University Collegium Medicum PhD Student Conference took place, organized by the Jagiellonian University Collegium Medicum Doctoral School of Medical and Health Sciences. The event took place at the Jagiellonian University Collegium Medicum in Kraków and brought together doctoral students presenting the results of their research.
The conference served as an important forum for the exchange of knowledge and experiences, as well as for the presentation of the achievements of young researchers in the fields of medical sciences, health sciences, and pharmaceutical sciences. Participants had the opportunity to present the results of their ongoing research projects, engage in scholarly discussion, and establish contacts conducive to further academic development.
A key element of the event was the competition sessions, during which high-quality research papers were presented. Winners were selected in two categories: the non-clinical session and the clinical session.
In the non-clinical session, first place went to Ms. Weronika Stochniałek, while second place was awarded to Ms. Milena Gawlińska.
In the clinical session, first place went to Ms. Yelyzaveta Dubna, and second place went to Mr. Andrzej Boryczko.
We warmly congratulate the winners on their awards, and we thank all participants for their active involvement, interesting presentations, and commitment to creating a valuable space for scientific dialogue.
