On January 22–23, the Doctoral School of Exact and Natural Sciences (DSENS), together with the Jagiellonian Centre for Experimental Therapeutics (JCET), will host an outstanding scientist, Professor Csaba Szabo.
Professor Szabo is among the most influential researchers in experimental biology (H‑index 155, over 95,000 citations). His work has significantly expanded our understanding of the role of gaseous mediators in physiology and disease. He has extensive experience leading research groups in Europe and the United States as well as collaborating with the biotechnology industry. He currently heads the Department of Oncology, Microbiology, and Immunology at the University of Fribourg, Switzerland.

The specialized lectures will take place at the Jagiellonian Center of Innovation (Bobrzyńskiego 14)
The Doctoral School Seminar will be held at the Faculty of Mathematics and Computer Science and will also be streamed online.
