We are pleased to invite you to take part in the recruitment for the 2nd edition of the Jagiellonian University PhD Teaching Programme – Program szkoleniowy dla doktorantów (JUP) conducted under the Teaching-Engagement-Development (TED): Nauczyciele akademiccy i doktoranci wobec wyzwań przyszłości project. The project aims to foster development qualifications and competencies in the following areas: teaching, digital, green transformation, entrepreneurship and commercialization of research results.

Basic Information:
- The programme is dedicated to those PhD students who in the academic year 2025/2026 will be in at least the 2nd year of education or in the 1st or 2nd extension at the Jagiellonian University Doctoral Schools and who have teaching experience in Polish and/or English (a completed teaching practice is sufficient) and knowledge of English at a minimum B2 level.
- The programme lasts one year and offers various forms of support.
- Recruitment can be completed via the electronic recruitment form, including a competency assessment and the required attachments, which can be found on the Portal Rekrutacyjny ZintegrUJ.
- A maximum of 36 participants will be admitted to the the 2nd edition of the Programme, with 9 individuals selected from each Doctoral School based on the best recruitment results.
- The final results of the recruitment process will be announced on 31 July 2025.
Assumptions of the Programme:
- As part of the programme, participants must complete 8 short and intensive 10-hour obligatory training courses, which will take place from November 5, 2025 to April 2, 2025, the completion of which will allow the participant to obtain a diploma of completion of the Program.
- The training courses will cover four areas of competence: teaching, digital skills, green transformation, and entrepreneurship and commercialisation of research results.
- After completing one training course in each area of competence (at least four courses) participants will have the opportunity to undertake either a foreign or domestic internship or study visit, fully funded by the programme.
- The training courses will be held according to the class schedule. Each course will be available on two separate dates.
- The training staff will include specialists from both within and outside the Jagiellonian University, covering the following areas of competence: teaching, digital skills, green transformation, and entrepreneurship and commercialisation of research results.
- The training courses will be conducted in English.
